Position Summary:
The Momentive Performance Material Technology group based in Shanghai, China, has a part-time opening for intern supporting R&D Scientist on new product development. The candidates are expected to be undergraduate/postgraduate students in chemistry or polymer science and preferred in basic background about Thermal conductivity.
Job Description:
- Assist R&D scientist in the lab to develop new products, and test protocols in support of the Thermal potting and Thermal adhesive developments, including preparing test samples, thermal conductivity, viscosity, hardness and mechanical properties, etc.
- Document experiment record and data report in a timely and organized manner.
- Clear communication and reporting of laboratory activities.
- Support EHS, 5S and other lab admin issues
- Maintain a safe and orderly laboratory work environment.
